Sheryl Victor Levy, Digital Strategist

Sheryl Victor Levy joined the Museum of the City of New York in 2017 as Vice President, Marketing Communications where she currently leads marketing, communications, digital and tourism for the award winning and critically acclaimed institution located at the top of New York City’s Museum Mile. Prior to the Museum, Sheryl led Digital Strategy for Phil & Co., a leading cause marketing firm in Manhattan working with nonprofits, philanthropies and companies doing good including the United Nations Foundation, Brookfield Office Properties and Carnegie Corporation. In 2006, she founded Savvy Strategy, a digital consulting firm specializing in content and social media strategy. With over 15 years experience on the agency and brand side, Sheryl spent the first part of her career leading marketing and licensing for MTV, VH1, Universal and Hearst. She has also held marketing strategy positions at Webex and USA Networks.

Sheryl is an accomplished public speaker and instructor at New York University with a focus in cause marketing and corporate social responsibility. She is a Board member of New York Women in Communications, Advisory Board member of Urban Archive, Conference Committee member of the Content Council and is a graduate of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College.
