Help 2 Mommies get to SXSWi! We need your vote!

I hope this finds you well. It’s been a while so I’m calling in some favors on my social cred.

You may have heard of South by Southwest (SXSW) a digital conference held each March in Austin Texas. http://sxsw.com. I have submitted a dual presentation proposal with my colleague and friend, Lisa Schneider from Budget Travel. It’s called “8 Tips to Help Explain Digital to Normals.” We’ve even started a blog and have begun collecting funny stories from our digital pals. Take a look. http://bit.ly/poI2gE

SXSW panels are selected by a competitive application process.
Only 500 panels are selected from over 3,000 submitted.

An important criterion for acceptance is popularity. The general public is invited to cast their vote for topics they find interesting.

That’s how you can help!

You don’t have to be planning to go to SXSW to vote, although, it’s an amazing conference and would love to see you there!

Here are the details:

– Go to: http://panelpicker.sxsw.com
– Find and click on “create a PanelPicker account” (name, email)
– Receive a verification email (check your spam folder, too)
– click on link in email and login to http://panelpicker.sxsw.com
– scroll down and click on > “Explore the Proposals for SXSW Interactive”

How to Vote:

– click “Thumbs Up” icon
Voting ends this Friday, September 2nd with initial panel selections announced October 24th.
